Steve Zoller
Vocation/Avocation: Retired from Procter & Gamble’s Research and Development after 30 years in their New Product Development and Medical Affairs departments.
For fun: Using retirement as a way to get my golf handicap from 3 back to 2 (although sometimes it seems more like hard work and frustration than fun). My wife and I have a list of travel destinations all over the world that we continue to work through. We aren’t visiting grandkids yet but with four children in their 20s, grandkids are pretty likely.
Your favorite spot to relax in Ohio/Kentucky: We have a great condo in Northern Kentucky (Covington) that overlooks the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. I get the view across the river from my recliner, my desk, our bed, and the deck. This is pretty hard to beat for a relaxing location.
Latest inspiration: My brief involvement so far with SVP has inspired me to look at getting involved with SCORE and ESCC (Executive Service Core of Cincinnati). Using my corporate training to help small businesses and not-for-profit organizations become more successful may turn out to be my retiree vocation
Best part about your involvement in SVP Cincinnati: I’ve met a lot of terrific people and it is serving as my entre into the role of making a difference in the world through not-for-profit organizations.
Your perspective on SVP Cincinnati: Given the number of partners in many SVP groups around the country, we have a lot of room for growth in Cincinnati. Being part of anything during its growth phase is exciting.
