SVP Partner Lindsay Bitzenhofer chats with guest Lloyd Fields at a social gathering.
As soon as you join SVP, you have access to the many benefits our current partners receive:
- Expert speakers, panels, and gatherings. You and your family gain a rich insight into community issues, the nonprofit sector, giving strategies and philanthropic and civic leadership. See our Calendar
- A wide variety of hands-on experience: evaluate grant proposals, lead volunteer teams, and provide your expertise to a local nonprofit organization. These experiences help you gain in-depth knowledge of philanthropy and local nonprofits.
- Connections with other smart, committed people. Share not only your ideas but your passions and experience with others who are interested in issues affecting our city and beyond—from rising health care costs to microcredit and global warming, to name a few.
- Involvement at the level of your choice. SVP offers a range ways for you to get involved when and if you can: provide short-term or long-term volunteer assistance, attend a class, join a committee or attend a partner meeting and observe.
- While there are many opportunities to get involved, some of our partners prefer to invest only their financial resources in SVP, knowing their contribution is hard at work making a difference in the community.
