“I never dreamed that we could get the level of expertise and help that we’re getting from so many (SVP) people, and you just can't put a price tag on that.”

SVP Cincinnati 2008 Investee
Our partners have diverse backgrounds and work in a range of industries, bringing unique skills, resources, personal perspectives and professional expertise to our participation in SVP. But for all our variety, there are several important attributes that we have in common:
- Interested in Leverage – All partners invest a combination of time, expertise and money in our community efforts.
- Entrepreneurial – Partners are innovative, creative and solutions-driven…and expect the same of their philanthropy.
- Curious – Partners educate themselves to become informed and effective philanthropists.
- Collaborative – Partners share their knowledge and learn from each other, and our investees. They can delegate as well as take on assignments themselves.
- Respectful – Partners foster mutual respect with each other and within investee relationships.
- Accountable – Partners are accountable to each other, our investees and the community.
- Fun – Cincinnati partners call it ROL - "return on life." Bringing their skills and talents to the table to make a real difference with like-minded folks feels great and is fun.
- Results – Partners achieve and document measurable results.
