Philanthropic Group Announces Grant Opportunity for Regional Environmental Organizations
CINCINNATI, OH. – November 10, 2008 – Social Venture Partners (SVP) Cincinnati, a local venture philanthropy group, announces its second $25,000 grant opportunity for regional environmental organizations providing educational programs for youth. Social Venture Partners Cincinnati Names Civic Garden Center First Social Investment Partner
Cincinnati, OH - June 11, 2008 - Social Venture Partners Cincinnati today named the Civic Garden Center its first social investment partner awarding the organization $25,000 along with a team of experts to assist them in building and operationalizing a Green Learning Station. To be built on the nearby site of an old gas station, the Station will provide education and inspiration to builders, developers, home owners and officials to incorporate green technology into their residences, businesses and public spaces.
