Philanthropic Group Announces Grant Opportunity for Regional Environmental Organizations

CINCINNATI, OH. – November 10, 2008 – Social Venture Partners (SVP) Cincinnati, a local venture philanthropy group, announces its second $25,000 grant opportunity for regional environmental organizations providing educational programs for youth. Social Venture Partners Cincinnati Names Civic Garden Center First Social Investment Partner

Cincinnati, OH - June 11, 2008 - Social Venture Partners Cincinnati today named the Civic Garden Center its first social investment partner awarding the organization $25,000 along with a team of experts to assist them in building and operationalizing a Green Learning Station. To be built on the nearby site of an old gas station, the Station will provide education and inspiration to builders, developers, home owners and officials to incorporate green technology into their residences, businesses and public spaces. Network Continues to Grow and Give - $26 Million in Grant Investments Made to More than 300 Nonprofit Organizations

Seattle, WA - May 27, 2008 - Social Venture Partners International (SVPI) announced its latest numbers associated with organizational growth and grantmaking. Based on an affiliate network data report prepared by Social Market Strategies, LLC, the Social Venture Partners network contributed more than $26.5 million in grant investments to more than 300 nonprofit organizations since its formation in 1997.
